ACHS to Celebrate New Permanent Home at Amazon’s HQ2

Arlington Community High School is proud to celebrate a major milestone—the unveiling of our new permanent home at Amazon’s HQ2 in Metropolitan Park on Friday, September 12.

This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our students, staff, and community. By the 2026–27 school year, more than 250 students, faculty, and staff will move into a custom-designed learning space at HQ2. In addition, ACHS students will benefit from access to a 2.5-acre public park, community garden, dog run, and 14 local small businesses. The celebration represents years of collaboration between Arlington Public Schools, the School Board, and Amazon to provide ACHS with a permanent home for the very first time. This new space will not only enhance learning but also reduce long-term costs for the school division, ensuring more resources directly support students. We look forward to celebrating this important achievement and the opportunities it will create for our community.
