A Month of Meaning: Celebrating AAPI, Jewish, and Haitian Heritage

At Arlington Community High School, May is a time to celebrate the stories, cultures, and contributions that shape who we are as a community. Throughout the month, we proudly recognize Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, Jewish American Heritage Month, and Haitian Heritage Month—each offering an opportunity to learn, reflect, and connect. These celebrations highlight the voices, histories, and achievements of communities whose impact continues to inspire and strengthen our world. Across our school, students and staff will engage in meaningful conversations, explore cultural traditions, and uplift the experiences that make our community so vibrant. From shared learning to student-led moments, May invites us all to expand our perspectives and celebrate the richness of our diversity. Together, we honor the past, celebrate the present, and continue building a more inclusive and connected ACHS.
